1 bottle of red wine
2 star anise
4 tbsp caster sugar
zest and juice of a couple of clementines
Put everything in a pan and bring to a slow boil for around 10 minutes.
Stir occasionally and when the sugar has dissolved turn the heat off.
Cover and let it sit for 30 mins so the spices infuse.
Re-heat gently when its time to serve.
Pour into mugs and enjoy!
Alternatively chuck everything in your slow cooker and heat on low for 2 hours .
